ON CHILDREN AND CHILDHOOD
Our childhood is a precious journey that will never arrive again.
We all wish we could have taken more advantage of this period of our liv Across the world, children's lives are oppressed by exhausting social and economical situtations.
Children are windows opening up into a world far from what we see everyday: war, violence, famine, hate, racism.
Their honesty, directness and energy are to us an inspiration that pushes uson finding new alternatives for the progression of social life. We learn from them and they from us.

ON ART
A powerful tool for social change the arts in all its manifestations enable the conduction of unconscious realities lying deep within. By consciously using and applying it to our daily struggles, we can arrive at a better communication and understanding of our life and humanity.
The children who worked with Unmasking Shadows in Kenya drew a lot of houses ( out of 600 drawings more than 300 were Houses).
This is a significant symbol talking to us directly:
these children are in search of a physical and emotional home for their growth.

ON BECOMING INTERNATIONAL CITIZENS

Whichever the Culture of our birth, we are transformed through experiences of travels and meetings with the diverse stories of people across the world. We cannot be limited to caring only about our culture of birth: as citizens of the world, our responsibility is to learn about the inherent diversity the world is made up of and to humbly share our experiences with others, without any dominant view.

CULTURAL COLLABORATION
We are ready to challenge our preconceived notions of cultural, human and global identity. We are a circle of young artists and thinkers who believe in the possibility of sharing our stories/experiences/love with children who are survivors of a harsh physical and psychological environment, convinced the human fusion that exists in artistic collaboration will radically transform our inner beings and redefine our goals as global citizens. We intend to arm ourelves with cross-cultural understandings that will make us prepared to confront a world more than ever on the brink of a chaotic explosion.

SOCIAL MOVEMENT BASED ON ACTION
Our actions are a catalyst for movement of human inspiration and resources in any community causing a new energy to be born. This has the ability to generate solutions for issues concerning homelessness, discrimination and environmental preservation.
